The following is important information regarding the 2018 Calgary Bull Sale for anyone interested in buying bulls. We hope this information is beneficial to you as you make plans to attend our 2018 bull show and sale. If you are looking for maps, please go to the Contact page.
The Alberta Cattle Breeders Association requires potential buyers to register and secure a bid card to participate in the 2018 Calgary Bull Sale.
Each potential buyer will be required to stop at the Buyer Registration Office to register and obtain a bid card. This will eliminate the buyer having to fill out a Sale Agreement for each bull purchased during the sale.
The Buyer Registration Office will be open Wednesday, February 28 until Thursday, March 1 from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. for your convenience.
Movement of Bulls
Buyers and a focus group told us that they would like to have the opportunity to see the bulls walk more freely.
- If you require transportation from the Calgary International Airport you may call Judy Finseth 403.852.0154 or 403.938.7726 to schedule a ride down to the show grounds.
The Alberta Cattle Breeders Association as agent of the Calgary Bull Sale will arrange trucking of bulls upon request for both large and small loads. When settlement is made at the Sales Office, please let the staff know that you require trucking and these arrangements can be made on your behalf.
Delivery: Buyers and sellers will coordinate the delivery of bulls. Sellers and buyers must coordinate all necessary transportation arrangements and let the settlement office know. The seller is responsible for feeding and watering of bulls. Buyers must supply feed for the animal(s) while in transit.
Insurance – Insurance agents will be available on site. Insurance: Buyers desiring insurance must give this matter their personal attention.
